It's official Home Open/Public Beta launches tomorrow Dec 11 and will be available from the PlayStation XMB bar under PlayStation Network.

Yesterday, Home was updated to version 1.0. This updates include tons of bug fixes, Home Club & Clubhouses.

Sony will be sending out invites to PS Home every week. Based on the numbers I saw last nite, it looks to be hundreds weekly.

Playstation Blog post an announcement regarding applying for the PS Home Extended Closed Beta.

Existing closed beta testers will automatically be part of the extended closed beta.

Has anyone heard or participated in any new 3D virtual worlds? I know about the Playstation Home closed beta that is slated to begin open beta testing late Fall. Yet, I haven't seen or heard anything about any others.

So what's new on the virtual world front?
